There is also one $500 scholarship available to a Southeast Texas high school senior who is planning to attend college and study or pursue a career in the media, public relations, academia, public affairs, corporate communication, or public information.

• Must be a resident of Jefferson, Hardin or Orange County
• Scholarship recipients are encouraged, but not required, to attend Lamar University, Lamar State College Orange, Lamar State College Port Arthur or Lamar Institute of Technology.
